Eligibility

  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, in any subject.
  • Must have some computer programming background (such as college level coursework, verifiable completion of self-taught programs or work experience) and familiarity with basic computer science concepts.
  • Must live within commuting distance of an onsite placement and be willing to consider onsite, remote or hybrid placements.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship support.
  • Must be able to clear Dexian and employer-required background checks.
  • Must be able to commit to class hours; homework (40+ hours per week class hours; 10.5+ hours per week homework).

Admissions & Selection

Candidates must complete an application, available at https://info.grandcircus.co/dexian-futures.

Candidates will be notified if they are eligible for the program; if so, they must attend an information session with Grand Circus, or schedule a private inquiry call.

After attending an information session or private inquiry call, candidates will be invited to complete course pre-work.

Upon scoring a passing mark in pre-work, Admissions will schedule an interview with the candidate.

 

Selection

There are limited seats available in each Dexian Futures course. Students are accepted into the program based on the quality of their application, pre-work grade, their performance in the admissions interview, and the availability of course seats in their regional market; technology track.

 

Terms & Conditions

Dexian Futures students must:
  • Meet all eligibility and admissions requirements, including interviewing and successfully completing pre work assignments prior to class start.
  • Meet all coursework requirements for both core and career services curricula and maintain acceptable academic standards, according to Grand Circus policies.
  • Be actively job-seeking by the last 30 days of the Program Bootcamp.
  • Agree to work with their assigned recruiter on Dexian-sourced staffing opportunities presented during the bootcamp and for 30 days post-graduation.
  • Agree not to accept any non-Dexian sourced employment opportunities for the duration of the Bootcamp, and for 30 days post-graduation.
  • Agree to abide by all Grand Circus student policies and Code of Conduct.

 

Class Withdrawal

  • If a student accepts a position but indicates they are not job-seeking at any time during the Bootcamp or does not work with their recruiter for job submissions, interviews and placement, they will be removed from the training program and charged a $1,500 fee to cover a portion of course expenses.
  • If a student voluntarily withdraws from class at any time, they will be charged a $1,500 fee to cover a portion of course expenses. Withdrawal includes direct notification that they are dropping the class or exceeding the class absence limit of 5 tardies or 3 absences.
  • If Grand Circus removes the student from class due to academic reasons, the $1,500 fee will be waived. In such cases, the student must be in compliance with our student policies, and have met any additionally prescribed Academic Progress Panel requirements. This may include tutoring, extra study or assignments, or other support deemed necessary for the student to succeed.
  • If the student must drop the class due to a major life event such as an illness that prevents the student from participating in the training or a death in the immediate family, the $1,500 fee will be waived. Proof of the life event will be required, and Dexian reserves the right to determine if the instance meets the requirements for the fee to be waived. In such a case, students may petition to defer to a future
